Blue KC, BlueKC, Kansas City, Kansas City Medicare Agent, KC, Local Agent, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Agent, Medicare Supplement

It’s hard to believe that we’re already talking about the upcoming Annual Enrollment Period for Kansas City Medicare plans. You see as independent agents we have lots of work to complete before October 15th when you have the opportunity to shop for a new prescription drug plan or a Medicare Advantage plan.

We not only have to certify each year with CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services), but also certify for each insurance company that we want to represent. So for the upcoming year I thought I’d share with you what companies and plans we will be offering and hopefully will have a chance to chat with you about changing to a better plan for next year.

Blue Cross Kansas City – Medicare Advantage PPO

Blue Cross Kansas City – Medicare Advantage HMO

Anthem Blue Cross – Part D Prescription Drug Plan

AARP United Healthcare – Medicare Advantage PPO

AARP United Healthcare – Medicare Advantage HMO

AARP United Healthcare – Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan DSNP

AARP United Healthcare – Chronic Conditions Special Needs Plan CSNP

Aetna – Medicare Advantage PPO

Aetna – Medicare Advantage HMO

Aetna – Prescription Drug Plan

Silverscript – Prescription Drug Plan

Wellcare – Prescription Drug Plan

If you are enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan and would like to switch to a Medicare Supplement insurance plan, now is the time to apply for coverage. If the Med Supp carrier approves your application, then your new coverage would start on January 1, 2020. In addition, we will help you find a prescription drug plan also.

About the author

Our founder, Paul Bennett, grew up in the insurance business. In recent years he became increasingly concerned watching seniors wade through the confusing and complex world of Medicare just to find the right plan. Who could they trust to help them navigate the waters with their best interests in mind? Without an independent agent, there was little help to be found. Paul knew he could do better, and MediGap Select was born. He built a team of independent agents who shared his commitment to ensuring that people have the information and guidance they need to make the best decision regarding their insurance. Paul and his team bring clarity, simplicity, and transparency to the Medicare enrollment process, making it easy for you to find the right plan.
